Improving Regulatory Performance
The conference, held on 1 April 2011 brought together leading thinkers on regulatory reform issues from academia, government and non-government sectors. The conference aimed to improve our understanding of systems for making, reviewing and implementing regulation; as well as looking at regulatory and other innovative tools; reviewing Commonwealth and State dimensions of regulation; and the practical issues of implementing risk-based regulation.
