Inquiry into Regulatory Impediments in the Financial Services Sector
The inquiry into Regulatory Impediments in the Financial Services Sector is now complete.
The inquiry commenced in September 2009, when the Victorian Treasurer announced that the Commission would undertake an inquiry into Regulatory Impediments in the Financial Services Sector.
The inquiry received a number of submissions from interested parties and the Commission submitted its final report to the Treasurer on 16 June 2010.
The Treasurer released the final report (and the Government's response) on 22 December 2011.
